About Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown
Before "Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown, I was, "Bo-Bo The Clown." I started clowning in 1992, my Freshman year of high school. I have entertained for thousands of people over the years.
In 1999, I was contacted by the City of Bakersfield to entertain at, "First Night Bakersfield," a New Year's Eve event for the citizens of Bakersfield. In December of 1999, going in to the year 2000, I knew this was the opportunity for me to make a name for myself.
I decided to change my look completely, along with my name. My costumes have always been custom made for me. I design the suit and the seamstress brings it to life. The new change consisted of a full outfit which was made of sequins.
The night of "First Night Bakersfield," December 31, 1999, was a hit! I landed on KGET T.V. 17 and on the front page of, "The Bakersfield Californian" newspaper the next morning. On January 1, 2000, I was awakened by my little sister, she was yelling to me, "Bo-Bo your in the newspaper!"
The Bakersfield Californian had made a Front Page, Special Millennium Edition and Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown was on it.
In 2001, I was asked to be the spokes clown for, "First Night Bakersfield," with t.v. and radio ads.
The rest is history!
I am excited and pleased to announce that the year 2022, marks a milestone of 30 years clowning in Bakersfield & Kern County!
I, Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown would like to Thank all of my loyal Bo-Bo and Yip-Yip The Chimp fans for making me who I am today. I would also like to Thank my family for giving me the courage and support I need to continue to entertain.
I Thank God every day for giving me the talents and heart to provide great entertainment at birthday's and other events.
