Bo-Bo's Beginings

Before "Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown," I was, "Bo-Bo The Clown." I started clowning in 1992, my freshman year in high school. I was called by the City of Bakersfield to participate at, "First Night Bakersfield," a New Year’s Eve event for the citizens of Bakersfield. In 1999 going in to the year 2000, I knew that this was the time I needed to make a name for myself. I then decided to change my appearance completely. My costumes have always been custom made for me. I design the suit and the seamstress brings it to life. I decided to change my suit to a sequin filled outfit. The night of "First Night Bakersfield," December 31, 1999, was a hit! Bo-Bo landed on T.V. Channel 17 and The Bakersfield Californian the next morning. The next morning I was awakened by my little sister Idica The Clown, she was yelling to me, “Bo-Bo you’re in the newspaper.” I looked at The Bakersfield Californian, January 01, 2000 edition. They had made a special Millennium Edition Front page and Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown was there. It was an awesome experience to see the new change that I decided to make, to end up on the front page of the newspaper. It was a positive change that people liked and enjoyed. To appear on the front page of the Bakersfield Californian newspaper, was a life changing event.
In 2001, I was asked to be the spokes clown for "First Night Bakersfield" with T.V. and Radio ads. The rest is history!
I, Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown, would like to Thank all of my loyal fans and customers for making me who I am today. I would also like to thank my family for giving me the courage and support I need to continue to entertain. I thank God every day for giving me the talents and heart to do what I do. “Lord, Thank you for blessing me with an awesome life.”
Remember to always smile, be humble, and do right by others.
Bo-Bo The Millennium Clown, clowning since 1992.
